Third Post - Concert

The 16th of November of 2011 will be forever in my mind because that day was the first concert that I saw of my favorite band, Pearl Jam, and because I was working in a call center and I have to talk with my boss to go out earlier… she said me “as long as you made 10 surveys you could go” or something similar. The concert was in the Monumental stadium and began at nine or ten o’clock I think. Pearl Jam was a band who starts to play in the beginning of the ninety’s in the middle of Grunge Scene of Seattle with another bands like Nirvana or Soundgarden. The band is formed today for Eddie Vedder, Jeff Ament, Stone Gossard, Mike McCready and Matt Cameron, although they have now ten records.

I went to the concert with four or five friends, I don’t remember very well, but I could say now that without them I couldn’t wait the six hours in the row. But all the time that we passed in the row was truly worthwhile because with only heard the guitars and the voice of the singer the atmosphere changed and turned the night like a travel across different emotions and good/bad moments of the past…  and the people in the stadium, I’m sure, felt the same or similar that me.

I could say that this concert is one of the best that I have seen in my life, I enjoyed a lot and I sang to the point of exhaustion because they played a lot of songs that I love and I never hope to listen live. When the concert finished I couldn’t believe it and I think that I talked about it for one month or more.

If I could travel to the past, without doubt I would go to see this concert again.

Cartoons - Slam dunk

When I was a child I saw so much television than now, I saw a lot of series and cartoons because I had a lot of free time. I remember that I saw cartoons every evening after the school because there was a TV show only of cartoons at this hour, and it was like my distraction before to do the homework’s.

If I have to choose my favorite it could be maybe “Slam Dunk”, this cartoon it’s about the story of “Hanamichi Sakuragi”, a very problematic teen that began to practice basketball because it’s the sport that loves the girl that he loves. It was only a whim but with the time he began to love the basketball, and were an important part of team formed by “Kaede Rukawa”, “Takenori Akagi”, “Ryota Miyagi” and “Hisashi Mitsui”. The setting of this story was in the Japan of the ninety’s in the middle of a qualifying tournament for national tournament of schools of Japan. I liked a lot this cartoon because it's about a very exciting sport and  shows how someone who seems only a rebellious guy could change and do great things doing sports.

Now I have twenty years old and I have to say that sometimes when I visit to my nephews I see cartoons with them because I think that see cartoons it’s not bad, after all we have ever a child in our souls.

First Post: I would like to go to France

If I think in a country in the world that I really want to go, it would be France. I don’t have a great reason, I only could say that one or two years ago I read a book that mentions some places of France and I really liked how the book described them. I only know a few things of the history of France for the history classes and because I have two years of French in the school, so I knew a little bit of their language and his culture.

I think like the tourists, I want to visit the most famous places like the Eiffel Tower or The Arch of Triumph and obviously visit the other places that I knew by my book. If I have the possibility I would like to study and live in there, because France seems a very interesting place and because from there you could travel to other countries of Europe without problems I think.
